This is a message of thanks to our customers for their patience and support and to our colleagues and suppliers for their hard work in dealing with the uncharted challenges and uncertainty presented by the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Whilst people around the country are stocking up, we are working around the clock to serve our customers and the community and take care of one another when we need each other most while ensuring safety for both our staff and customers.
We want to let you know that looking after our customers and colleagues is our priority at The Authentic Souvlaki, and making sure we all have a clean, safe place to enjoy the best Greek food London has to offer. We want to assure you that we are following guidance provided by the Government, working closely with our suppliers and ensuring we collectively do everything possible to help the country in these challenging times. In light of the COVID-19 events, we want to personally thank all our dedicated colleagues and suppliers who are working very hard in very challenging circumstances, to serve our customers, support our community and take care of one another. We expect the days, weeks and months ahead to be testing, however, through working together to support each other we will meet the many challenges we will face. We have plans in place to respond as the situation develops and we are working every day to meet the changing nature of the impact of this pandemic.
As a business, we are committed to providing a safe environment for everyone whilst continuing to operate as normal across some of our markets. While some of our sites are open as usual, we have taken additional measures to maintain a clean and safe environment for our beloved foodies. We have decided to cease our trading at Fenchurch street Market until further notice. Any changes or postponement will be communicated via our website and social media channels. We would like to ask all our customers, when shopping with us, to please consider others even more and to opt for cashless payment. Please continue to treat our colleagues on the front line with the greatest respect and, most importantly, be safe.
In a world of social hysteria and panic over toilet paper, if is nice to see a sane approach to the situation. Can’t wait for you to be back in Ferchurch
